Glen S. Faber, Esq.

Glen Faber has been the managing partner of FABER & TROY for over 20 years. He specializes in personal injury litigation, including construction accidents, motor vehicle crashes, and trip-and-fall accidents. He has performed this work exclusively for over 28 years.

Glen is a graduate of Cornell University’s prestigious School of Industrial and Labor Relations. After attending Brooklyn Law School, Glen worked in the Labor Relations Department of Metro North Railroad, where he worked with Union officials of several trades to resolve grievances and disciplinary matters. Glen then represented CSEA members in work disputes as an attorney with Fine, Olin & Anderman, P.C. Glen is has a deep understanding of the issues and concerns of union and non-union workers in all trades. He brought his understanding and commitment to serving their legal needs with him to Faber & Troy in 1992.

Glen is a volunteer member of the Cornell Alumni Ambassadors Admissions Network (CAAAN). He was inducted in the Kings Park Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame in 2015. Glen is a devoted Mets fan. He is married and has 2 children, both of whom attended Cornell University.

Michael Schwartz, Esq.

Michael Schwartz has been practicing for over 30 years. Before joining Faber & Troy, he was a partner at the prestigious firm of Salenger Sack Schwartz & Kimmel, LLP. Michael was in charge of developing, implementing and updating the firm's technological systems developing case management software package to steam-line and track cases more efficiently. This system has been in place for over 20 years.

Michael has spoken before the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He has authored lecture materials and published articles on trial strategy for presentations to the New York State Bar Association, Practicing Law Institute, Nassau County Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, Louisiana State Trial Association, St. John's Law School and Touro Law School. Michael is an active member of the Bellmore, Long Island Kiwanis Club, where he was named 2002’s "Outstanding Kiwanian of the Year" 2002 and Bellmore School District, technology committee. At present Michael is on the Board of the Jewish National Fund Long Island Profession Group.

Michael graduated from the State University at Albany with a B.S. degree and Brooklyn Law School, where he earned his J.D. degree. He is admitted to the Bar in New York and the United States Federal Courts.

Catherine M. Troy, Esq

Catherine M. Troy, Esq.

Catherine M. Troy has been with Faber & Troy since 1985. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Queens College, she attended St. John’s University Law School where she received her law degree and was admitted to the NYS bar in 2010.

She completed prestigious internships at the Queens District Attorney and Appellate Division. She is a former trustee of the Queens County Women’s Bar Association and a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem.

Salvatore V. Agosta, Esq

Salvatore Agosta is a graduate of the Binghamton University School of Management and a cum-laude graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law. Sal is home grown – he worked with Faber & Troy as an intern-turned-paralegal before going to law school and being admitted to the NY bar in 2011. Sal is a key member of the Faber & Troy litigation team, with expertise in all aspects of civil litigation, investigative discovery, legal writing, and research. In the Appellate courts, he has made new law on several cases, including topics such as strict liability in favor of police officers, the initial burden of summary judgment motions, general premises liability, and strict liability for dog attacks. When he’s not lawyering, Sal is an avid hiker, kayaker and wilderness backpacker, preferring to spend his off time roughing it on the trail or paddling on an Adirondack lake.
